Trip to Walgreens

As if my son’s arm issues weren’t enough, to add to my plate my van (that I just bought 2 weeks ago) had the brake/battery light come on the past 2 days so I took it in to get looked it. They think its the alternator (which is under warranty) so they gave me a rental.

On the way home from dealing with that, I stopped at Walgreens because I had some $6 RRs that were expiring today.

I got:

3 pairs of cute Valentine’s Day sock for my daughter $2 each
2 Wet Ones 2 for $4 get $1 RR, used 2 $1.50 printable coupons FREE
3 sets Tattoos for my kids $2.99 each
Gallon of milk $3.39
Used 3 $6 RRs
Subtotal was $1.36 (plus tax)

***I was going to get the Glade 2 oz candles but they were not ringing 2 for $5 anymore. They rang up $3.29 or something which would not be free or a money maker so I passed.

I have one more $6 RR but I will go back tonight when I plan better and print 2 more Wet Ones coupons.

HOLY COW, 3.39 for a gallon of milk!!! Man, guess I didn't realize the usual 1.59-199 range was so cheap here in IL!!!

Wow, I'm surprised they let you buy the milk with RR's. My RR's say that dairy is one of the excluded items. I wouldn't mind paying 3.39 for milk if I were able to use my RR's.
