Using coupons along with a sale is the best way to get FANTASTIC deals. Many people are confused on just how many coupons they are allowed to use on deals so I will break it down in this post.
Here are some examples of what is allowed:
- When buying one item, you are allowed to use one manuf coupon and one store coupon together (unless the coupon forbids it)
- During a Buy One Get One sale, you are allowed to use 2 manuf coupons and 2 store coupons (some stores will say you can’t use a store coupon on the free item but that is rare)
- On a Buy One Get One sale, you are allowed to use a BOGO coupon and get both items free (except tax if it applies)
- When buying 2 products and using a BOGO coupon, you are also allowed to use a $ off coupon on the item that you are “buying”. —For example, a coupon says “Buy a razor and get a body wash free”. That coupon attaches to the body wash since you are getting that item free with the coupon. You are also allowed to use a $ off coupon on the razor since nowhere on the “Buy a Razor Get a body wash free” coupon does it say you have to pay full price for that razor. However, you can not use a BOGO coupon along with a $/2 coupon because the $/2 coupon attaches to both products. –For example, you can’t buy 2 body washes and use a BOGO coupon and a $4 off 2 coupon but you can use a BOGO coupon and a $2 off 1 coupon.
- When buying 7 of the same product, you can use 7 coupons even if they say “one per purchase” (don’t allow cashiers to tell you differently). Each item is a purchase. One per transaction means you must ring them up in separate orders.
You can only use ONE manuf coupon per item. Some examples of different manuf coupons are: peelies, blinkies, insert coupons from Sunday’s paper, coupons from booklets or magazines, and internet printables. Since all of these are manuf coupons, you can not use 2 of them together on one item.
You can only use ONE store coupon per item. When a store (like Publix) accepts competitor coupons, these are also considered store coupons and you should not use another store coupon along with the competitor coupon. –For example, if you are buying an item, you should not use a Publix coupon along with a Target coupon because both are considered a store coupon. (this causes controversy with people for some reason)
I know when I shop CVS they will not accept a cvs q and a manf q…why???
If its a TRUE cvs store coupon you are absolutely allowed to use it with a manf coupon.
HOWEVER, if you are using the CVS coupons from their site, a lot of those are manuf coupons that say CVS coupon at the top (they are coded as manuf coupon and have an address for CVS to redeem from the manuf at the bottom)
If you aren't allowed to use a store coupon with a manuf coupon, email CVS customer service, tell them and they will email you back saying its allowed and you can take that email to your store
would a double/triple pack item be considered just 1 item?i was at target the other night and saw the Gillette fusion shave gel as a double pack for about $5,but i had a coupon for $_off 1.Could you use a coupon like that on an item even if it's a double/triple pack?
Yes if its a double or triple pack you can use the reg $ off coupons unless they specifically say "single bottle" or something like that
Usually the double packs are just bonus packs though
Can I combine a bogo 1/2 off with a manuf bogo coupon?
If you mean a bogo 1/2 off sale with a bogo coupon then yes you can

Does Walgreens allow this or do you have to buy a 2nd item (filler) so you have the same number of items that you have coupons?

Sorry haha it’s been a long day. Can you use a store coupon and a manufacturer coupon on one item at Wags or do you need to add a filler item since it’s one coupon per item there. I’m trying to remember how it’s been in the past, but I’m almost positive the register beeps at my store even if I have one store coupon and one manufacturer coupon for one item.
Store coupons don’t count as coupons when you are figuring out item to coupon ratios at Walgreens.
Use the manuf coupon first ALWAYS
If I I have a cereal coupon that requires you to buy 5 boxes can I use 5 coupons on that order?
no…. if it says something like $2 off 5 boxes… then that is the ONLY coupon you can use on that order unless you have a store coupon to stack with it

you can only use one… your purchase on that deal is 10 yogurts (not each individual one)
