The $5 off $50s do come in their DELIVERED ads but not in the ones in the store. You can call and ask to be added to their mailing list and you will get the ad in you mailbox about 4 weeks later (I get it usually on Tues or Wed each week now)

it is a coupon that prints from a “catalina machine” good on your next shopping trip. It says like “$1 off your next shopping trip”. It can be used on almost anything in the store except cigs, alcohol, stamps, gift cards, etc. You can almost always ROLL catalina coupons into another deal too.
Also if your publix accepts winn dixie as a competitor, you can use it there (actually it is just a manuf coupon but most Publix stores think its a Winn Dixie coupon since it has the store logo on it)
