In the first scenario is there a reason to buy 2 tins? If the lotion is 4.22 and a tin is .87 together they are 5.09. Shouldn’t that be good enough?

So thanks for pointing out that we need 3. Somehow I missed that. But how do we know it has to be at least $5. I hate Target so much I wasn’t going to try any variations but the sign is on the tins which I would argue should therefore be sufficient to just buy 3 of those. As I said I was not in the mood for trying it.
The Nivea coupon says limit 4 so I did 3 deals. On my way out of the store in the pouring rain I started to think about it and sat in the car and studied my receipt. Only 2 of my
4 coupons had been taken off.
I went back in and the gal from customer service went over to the register and pulled his coupons. Then she gave me $4 in cash back to fix it.
So watch your receipt if you have more than one coupon.
I had never heard about this minimum $5 thing but that is what Totally Target said and I trust her since she focuses just on Target
