First I would like to say, to everyone that tried to enter a giveaway twice by changing your name and email address on your second entry, you were disqualified (sadly there were about 8 people that did this). On the backend of my blog I can see the IP address of your entries so if you enter twice, you WILL NOT win !!! This just is not fair to the people who are honest and enter only once. Sometimes I will give you opportunities to get second and third entries and those do count but if I give you ONE entry, that is all you get.
**FYI, I am not referring to people who may have forgotten that they entered and then entered again later. These people changed their name and email address and entered one right after the other so it was very obvious that they were trying to scam the system to enter twice

Hey Amy. I just wanted to let you know I think I accidentally entered one contest twice. I sent my mom the link to one of your contests and she asked me to enter for her. I think I did it from my computer instead of hers. I didn’t realize the contests were only one entry, and one computer. I would have made sure to use her computer had I known. Sorry about that. Nope you weren’t one of the people disqualified (I just checked). These people changed their name and email address and entered one right after the other so it was pretty obvious they were trying to get 2 entries.
I do see now that you entered the Whole Foods giveaway twice but it was 7 days apart so I didn’t even see that. And I know that sometimes people do forget that they entered and those aren’t the people I am really referring to.

I don’t see what’s “scamming” with my husband and I entering both of our names while we are couponing together. I don’t need to pretend to be another person when I have a real live person who coupons with me. There are no disclaimers that say one entry per household. The entry is one per person and we do own just one home computer. Couponing is a family thing in our house. Maybe you should put “one entry per household” on the giveaways imtead of accusing people of trying to scam and disqualifying us for using the same computer which we do on several of our favorite coupon sites. I found this site recently and thought it would be a good source as you are in Central Florida as well, but please don’t assume that I am a bad person for entering a giveaway that had no parameters stating that my husband and myself could not use the same computer to enter a giveaway.
I will start putting that on my giveaways…. I mean everyone has a husband or kids so should everyone enter twice? How do I know how many people live in a house. And almost everyone that did it didn’t have one female name and one male name.
Yes, I understand where you are coming from. All of my entries were Ashley and Will so I can’t speak for those other people, but I think the disclosure ‘one entry per household’ will help with entries from the same computer.
