    last week i spent $134.96 ,but i paid $12.16!
    i also got$188 and change for$43. and change last week.
    back when Publix used to take B.J.’s coupons as well we all saved major money.i didn’t think that those coupons should count,but if you do i spent $169.83,but paid $3.24.
    i got steak for dinner with the overage,but as i said……….B.J’s shouldn’t count!

  7. The lowest amount I have ever paid at Publix using coupons was probably around $3 for a $30 grocery bill. I am not as good as you Amy but I think I do pretty well. Keep up the wonderful blog, I check it twice almost every day.

    I always try never to go under, but a couple of times I miscalculated, once being yesterday and they paid me $3.78. The woman behind me stopped me and asked how do I get paid to shop. I sent her to your site, of course.

  10. The lowest price I’ve ever paid at Publix was $5.79 for $67.76 worth of Gevalia coffee (8 bags). It was a BOGO sale, and I had stackable coupons! All the planets had aligned!!

    The lowest I ever paid was 84 cents and that was including 91 cents of tax. I think I saved around $60 on that trip.

  14. A while ago, before Publix changed their coupon policy I paid $0 for a heaping cart full of groceries!! First and only time, my husband was actually with me and my two small children. I walked out feeling like I stole it all but was dancing a jig all the way to the car- love your website, not too far away from you in Florida. Thanks for all you do:)

  16. The best trips are the ones where Publix pays me to takes groceries out of the store. :) I think one of my best trip was when they paid me 4.35 for $53. This was back in the day when they used to take a manufacture, a competitor and a public coupon for one item. Those were the good old days. :)

  17. The lowest I’ve paid before is 0. However, the best I’ve ever done to date is $120 worth of groceries for $25. Not too great in the couponing world, but it made me smile!

  18. If I shop for things that I only have coupons for then I can stay under $5 for everything I get. When I take my kids I end up spending way more but they are worth it.

    I typically do a large shop at a time, I was able to get over $200 in groceries for about $35. I was happy with that and all coupons were good ones, not like the scams on Extreme Couponing!

  24. For some reason I usually end up paying around $22 0r $23 after coupons from $80 to 120 before coupons. lol Don’t know why, but after reading your comments people I am definetely doing something wrong because I wanna pay $0 as well… Thank you Amy for your help.

    Good morning Amy! I have never had them pay me to shop (I would probably feel guilty about that!) but I have paid around $12 for $120 worth of groceries. Love your site and couldn’t do it w/o it! I have recommended it to several others as well.

  32. I feel embarassed if I go into negative, so I always have something like banana, apple or garlic on hand to get the total to o or a few cents. I was given a $10 gift card once and I used that to purchase more than $1,600 worth of groceries. I put it all on excel worksheet!!! Publix is really the palce to shop!!!   37. My fiancee and I paid $12 for $150 shopping at Christmas – we did have a $25 butterball gift certificate from his work (we are vegetarians so they let us use it if we bought one cheap butterball item which we gave to the dogs ;) )

    Publix paid me $5.98 a while back before they changed their coupon policy. I walked out with $187.98 worth of groceries and a nice $5 bill and change. I tipped the boy helping me take the groceries to the car $5 even though you are not supposed to tip. That was a great day. I must say your sight helps me all the time to save money. Thank you.

  84. I often go negative and get it in a gift card so I would say the most they’ve paid me was about $45.

  85. I would have to say the very first trip I made to Publix once I started using coupons. I had just signed up for multiple copies of my news paper and got a $15 gift card for each one (2). So, my total was about $126, but after coupons and gift cards, I paid $.26! I got hooked for life after that trip!!!!

    i am only slightly assamed to admit that I had an overage of more than $40 when the care free liners were on sale, It is the only time I have ever shelf cleaned went to various stores and purchased non-food items I didnt need or use on a regular basis. I used most of the overage to buy meat and the rest for gas that week (in the form of a gas card) we are very poor! I also did that $4.49 fish and tomatoes deal last week.
