Vi-Shape Nutritional Shake Review and Giveaway

As many of you know, I am trying to lose 20 pounds before my blogger cruise in November.  I know that my problem is that I eat very unhealthy foods and sit all day blogging deals so I decided to join a online “Get Fit” group with some blogger friends of mine 3 months ago.  It has helped me SO MUCH to get more motivated to work out and eat better.  One of the things several of the members in the group do is drink nutritional shakes for breakfast to get the protein and vitamins their body really needs to help them lose weight and benefit from their workouts more.  I decided to go ahead and try the Vi-Shape nutritional drink mixes because so many of them were loving the taste and the energy they felt after starting on them.

What I love about these mixes is that they are a sweet cream flavor that tastes like “cake batter” and you can also mix them with all kinds of things to make a variety of flavored shakes and smoothies.  Each drink has 90 calories and 12 grams of protein so it makes for a low calorie HEALTHY breakfast. It really kept me full longer than just eating a bowl of cereal.  By day 3, I could tell a difference in my energy level and was able to do longer cardio workouts before I felt exhausted.

There are lots of yummy shake recipes HERE which I can’t wait to try but so far my 2 favorite ways to make them are:

  1. Mixed with the Silk Berry Fruit and Protein drinks (so simple to make and only a total of 250 calories w/ 17 grams of protein)
  2. Blended with Simply Orange Juice and frozen mixed berries (I got a large 3 lb bag at Sams for $8.58)

**you know I must REALLY like them if I spent $100 of my own money to buy it.  Thats more than my avg monthly grocery spending LOL  But I know I will be getting the nutrition I need each day to become healthier and kick start my weight loss.  And at $1.67 per shake it really isn’t TOO bad of a price.
