My next project around my house is going to be adding chair railings and crown moulding to my bedroom (and other rooms) so I needed a saw to cut all the pieces. I decided to use all the free Amazon gift cards that I have gotten from Superpoints to get this DEWALT 10-Inch Compound Miter Saw.

Oh by the way … crown molding can be tricky. So read up on how to cut and install it or if you know someone with experience offer some beer and pizza and of course the use of your saw.

I had done some reading on installing crown moulding and watched a few videos, it does look tricky on the edges… I am going to start with the chair railing which seemed easier and move to the moulding after figuring out the saw a little better.
They make a “crown molding jig” that makes the cuts fit perfectly on the ceiling. I’m signed up Superpoints and only have a little more then 500 points. I’ve been with Superpoints since Janurary of this year. I usually got an email that has 1 or 2 points. I watch videos. A couple times a week I’ll remember to press the superpoints button and usually get 2 points. One time I got 25 points and was on a high for the rest of the day. I can’t remember ever been invited to do a survey. What is the secret to earning so many points? You probably don’t hear it enough…THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HARD WORK!
you need to get people under you and then get them to get people under them…. then you get all the same points they get. I know its MUCH easier for me to do that being a blogger but if you post it on your facebook page and tell friends about it maybe you could earn points faster

My hubby has this saw and he loves it! A friend of mine asked for one for her birthday a few years ago so that they could do molding in their house.
