I was sent both the Combat Source Kill Max Ant Bait and Combat Source Kill Max Ant Gel to try for myself to see how these products get rid of ants better than the typical spray.
The Combat Source Kill Max Ant Gel contains Fipronil which is a fast acting active ingredient that the ants bring back to the colony to feed to the queens and larvae. It lasts for up to a month and kills ants within an hour. You just place the gel near ant trails or suspected ant activity both indoors and out. The only drawback I see with this is that you need to be careful not to put it where small kids or pets can get to it.
The Combat Source Kill Max Ant Bait kills ants without any messy residue and without any odors. The ants bring the bait back to the colony which in turn destroys it. These are much better to use in homes with small children since the bait is inside the traps.
