Just as a heads up for everybody, my sister just left the Deltona Publix and went to check out with her 12 cases of Dr.Pepper. They created a line for everybody getting the deal and has a manager at the end of the line, they are only allowing 3 coupons to be used for the 12 cases. They told her that the cashiers have been doing it wrong all day.

the register will ring up 2 free after you buy 2 so if you only buy 10, you are leaving behind the 2 free ones you get from the sale
since the coupon is Buy 2 get 1 free you need to also do the deal in multiples of 3 so if you get 12, you use 4 coupons (4 x 3 = 12)

ok I called my publix and they said it would be buy 2 get 3 free, so I guess I would only be gettin 10 cases. That means I would be paying $1.59 for each case.

I never knew this Kevin worked at publix, and I say it like that cause I don’t know if that’s your husband, lol, one more question, I know these publix coupons have these LU numbers, I think that’s what they’re called, and the cashier punches that in…so if I tried to do this deal, and of course the drinks themselves will ring up the sale price..if they punch that LU number in, will it automatically make another case free? Or will they have to go in and manually make the other free? Hope this makes sense. Thanks again for all you do.
I don’t remember if the cashier enters $4.99 after entering the LLU or if its automatic but they will need to enter the LLU 4 times if you buy 12 12-packs — for the B2G2 sale the register will take the second (2) 12-packs off automatically

ok, so the 4th flier coupon is attaching to the 3 cases left, right? but don’t they already have the flier coupon attached? My publix is gonna give me a hard time, but it’s a weekly thing to buy drinks for my husband cause he can’t leave his work to go to town and get anything. So would be nice to save on all these. Also, both my publix was saying I would have to literally be purchasing 2, because of sale, get my 2 free, because of sale, …..with coupon,I’m already purchasing 2, so I can get a 3rd for free…ahhhhhhhhhhhhh
the sale has nothing to do with the coupons…. just like if you had 2 $1 coupons…. you could use those on 2 products…. even if a BOGO sale comes along it doesn’t affect how many coupons can be used on the items. So managers that are saying less coupons can be used because of the sale are just WRONG. We are just lucky that they are overlapping for 2 days.

So, I just had to write..I just had the absolute WORST experience at Publix. Now – I am a normal couponer..I know the ins and outs…but this Publix seriously had me seeing RED! I went to check out…I had 4 bags of chips and 12 12 packs…and the cashier goes we just had this – so just to let you know for every 1 coupon you have to buy 5 12 packs. I said absolutely not…and he then proceeded to wave his hand and said get the store manager we have another arguer. This store manager acted like I was FOOL for thinking the coupon pertained to 3 items. I asked him, yesterday…prior to the sale, would I have to buy 5, and he said no. I asked why then is the coupon indicative to the sale, he said because they are B2G2, I would have to buy 5, use 1 coupon and pay for 2. I asked him where on the coupon it says 5…that this coupon has been running all month and why in the last 48 hours it becomes different because of the sale…when did coupons have anything to do with any sale???? I told him they dont have anything to do with it…whether they were full price, bogo, buy 8 get 1 I dont care…the coupon pertained to 3 items. He then said you are wrong, you are ridiculous “YOU COUPONERS ARE NEVER SATISIFIED”. I am sorry…but this was obviously a case of a man thinking he was some false Adonis belittling a housewife. I asked…so if I had a BOGO coupon for these chips…and they are on sale BOGO…with your theory I would have to buy 4 and pay for 2???? And he then said it varies from person to person, but in my case YES! I seriously wish I was making this up.

OMG That makes MY blood boil !!!! PLEASE call corporate and report it. He is absolutely wrong. Kevins store even put up a sign by their sodas saying Buy 2 Get 10 Free. They sold $25,000 in sodas tocay. The store gets reimbursed for those yellow advantage buy coupons so publix is NOT out any money. And Pepsi pays BIG MONEY to have their ad in their fliers to begin with.

I just did this deal with my Mom of Saxon and Enterprise and he said I am going to have to call and tell everyone to look out for people like you! I went to the Doyle store this morning and had no issues. They must have changed managers at some point and started with this. My friend went and said they told her no to the soda deal. The same thing they told you. She then went to the Orange City store and they started with the same thing. Could you email me and let me know the verdict. I had the wrong store and thought he worked at the colonial one. I did go there for the first time and met him and it was a madhouse there lol. I accidentally called you his wife lol and after I revived him we had a nice conversation. He did have to leave to get another pallet though as like 20 people were filling carts. When I got in line some old cashier man in front of me told the woman she could not use her MQs with the deal. Fail. Of course a manager then told him to take them.

Oh I forgot I gave him a bunch of those $5 glade expressions oil diffusers coupons. Maybe a dozen or more in case you want to use or give away. There are about 8 more days until they expire though.

Yes the printables. I did see the lavender and the cinnamon for $5 at walmart but have not seen any in the last couple weeks. I do see the pineapple at walmart on 1792 now for $5.98. Maybe your readers would like them but it would have to be a quick giveaway.

They are just silly it was an assistant who first started arguing then came the “store manager” I seriously felt like i stepped onto a used car lot when this guy walked up (no offense to those who sell cars and who are nice and honest hehe) So whatever…I later went to the one on Courtland and they were WIPED out…so obviously Doyle is an exception. Courtland was nice enough to not online give me a rain check…but they substituted any Pepsi product and allowed the coupons. I didnt ask this, they just offered as doing the Rain Check – I thought this was awesome! Again…YMMV
1 more day and I want to do this a couple more times…we have a lot of football weekends where I know parties will be had and these will definitely come in handy!

I got the 12, 12 packs of Dr. Pepper around 6:00 pm today at the publix off enterprise and Saxon. I planned to go tomorrow too. I’m a little confused it seems the deltona publix is not accepting the coupons but is the publix off enterprise and saxon also refusing to take the yellow flier coupons with the 12 packs now?

Hi, I did this deal in the morning at the doyle store and had no issues. My friend went in the afternoon and said they would not let her do it. What is the problem? Also, if you go online and look up the CEO you should be able to find it quickly. I got 12 in the morning.
I think for every person that uses coupons like us, there are 50 that pay full price. So they need to quit picking on us.
the thing is, the store is NOT losing a penny off this and the more they sell, the bigger the bonus their store gets… there is NO REASON for a manager to not want to sell this. Pepsi reimburses the store for these yellow flier coupons
I just did this deal at the Publix in Deltona on Courtland. The cashier was not going to take any of the coupons for the soda with the sale. I was just about to say something when she said, let me call the manager. So she called the manager over and asked, could she take the coupons with the soda’s already being B2G2. The manager looked at her and said, “Thanks kinda the point”. That’s why we have the coupons there! Very Cool Manager.

I went to a Publix by work and got 12 of the 12 packs and 2 bananas for $7.74. I only used the 4 publix coupons and a $5/30 WD coupon for this one because it was all I had with me, and I was afraid the soda would be cleared out if I waited. I had no trouble at all, and the cashier and bagger were impressed with the deal.
After work, I went to a Publix by my house, and was able to buy 12 of the 12 packs, use 4 of the publix B2G1 coupons, and the mfg coupons, and they paid me $1.06 to take them. I hadn’t really calculated correctly, and didn’t realize the sale would be a money maker, so I didnt have anything extra in the cart. Anywho, the cashier had to call the manager over to get approval, and the manager was super nice. The cashier, however, made a snide comment about how Publix was going to have to “pay the tax on my purchase until they got refunded for the coupons,” but “Hey, whatever, right? you got a good deal.” Anywho, I didn’t let it bother me too much, because this particular cashier is always weird.
Anywho, the point is that I was able to do two deals, one in Winter Park and one in Orlando, using all of the mentioned coupons, and I had no trouble!

I just went to my Publix and they are limiting the 12 packs to 10 per person (after I already had 12 in my cart). Boo!! They called a manager over and when I saw who was coming I told her she wasn’t going to let me do it (she ALWAYS says no to coupons)! I think she was a little offended but took me to another register and actually allowed me to do it if I didn’t tell anyone about it. Ha! I got my 12 packs and used 4 coupons. Woo-Hoo. We were getting low!
see 10 doesn’t even make sense since the deal is B2 G2… it has to be a multiple of 4 or you are getting jipped 2 free sodas !!!
That’s what I was thinking!!! She was trying to get me to buy 10 and use 2 coupons. Like I’m going to leave behind 2 free sodas. Are you crazy?!? It was a big mess because I used 2 5/30 WD coupons and I would have had to go back and find something else to use them. Luckily she let me do it. Sometimes you just have to stand your ground.
I was considering doing this deal, but with all the posts about the problems, I think I will pass. More for you guys. We don’t even drink soda in our house, but it IS a great deal! Hopefully, it gets easier for everyone.

wow…cant believe the issues everyone has been having. I went today to the Publix in Lakeland on 98 and although they had a sign up limiting the deal to 3 per person, those 3 deals allowed me to purchase 12 mountain dews, use 4 YAB coupons plus my $5/$30 WD. They were very nice and accommodating, even the cashier couldn’t believe the price…….

The first store i went to had a limit of only (10) 12pks per customer so take a friend just incase. i was alone so i went to another “nicer” publix near me.

Kevin’s store doesn’t happen to take the save-a-lot coupons, does it? My publix (the cheap one on lake underhill and chickasaw) has been giving me trouble lately. I did the deal there yesterday, but I don’t know if I want to risk it again because last week they treated me like a thief. My winn dixie coupons aren’t in yet.

They do take the winn dixie coupons (and target but you can’t stack target coupons with publix coupons per their online policy)
My publix is only allowing 2 of the publix coupons per customer. You can get as many b2b2, but only use 2publix Q’s. I had 3 of the $1/1 Manuf and used 2-$1/2 printables. They were also out of the yellow advantage flyers. I think they may have removed them. I bought 8 for $5. not as good of a deal, but still a really good deal. I wish all of the stores would be in one page! That’s what the corporate policy is for!

I just got back from there about 2 hours ago and had no problem. When I asked a manager if it was ok he said of course that is what coupons are for. You just got an idiot is all. I have gone to 8 or 9 publix in the last 2 days without a single problem.
