My Publix Trip – December 30 – $3.29 after tax

First I want to say 2 things about this trip….

  1.  Ibotta would not load for me while I was in the store and kept saying I had no offers so I was scared to do any of the Ibotta deals that I had planned on doing (and then once I got home it loaded fine so I may go back for DOVE Shampoo and Styles and Caprisun and Eggo Waffles)
  2. Somehow I grabbed a Coke 2-liter instead of a Barqs 2-liter (they were next to each other on the shelf) so really the coupon was supposed to be used on only select Coke products which Coke was not listed so I messed up on that :(

I GOT:

  • (16) Libbys canned veggies BOGO $1.19, used (4) manuf $1/4 Libbys in 11/11/12 RP and (4) store $1/4 Libbys in All The Trimmings Booklet - 9.5¢ each
  • (7) Beechnut Fruities 99¢ each, used (7) $1/1 Beech-Nut Stage 4 or 5 Printables - 7¢ overage
  • (1) Gallon of Milk - $3.75
  • (2) Campbells Slow Kettle Soups $2 each, used (2) manuf 75¢/1 Campbell’s Slow Kettle Style soups (for savings club members) and (1) store $2/2 Campbells Slow Kettle Soups from Best Meals Happen At Home email - 25¢ each
  • (3) Fanta Orange by Coke and (2) Barqs by Coke and (1) Coke (should have been Barqs) @ B2G1 $1.99, used (2) store $1/3 select Coke product hangtags and (2) manuf $2/2 Coke product 2-liter printables (wish I had printed more) - 33¢ each

Used $5 off $30 Winn Dixie coupon from Enjoy the City booklet

Paid $2.66 + 63¢ tax = $3.29 (which is less than the price of the milk)

**This trip is a great example of why you buy things you may not need…. I will be giving the Fruities to my friends who have a 10 month old and most of the Libbys will go to a food bank.  But since my total was over $30 I was able to use a $5 off $30 coupon to reduce the final price to less than the milk I needed (and I got the 6 sodas and 2 soups too)
