This is my first trip of the week. I plan to go again later to get some other things (like the FREE Kikkomann seasonining mixes) but a friend of mine wants to join me on a trip this week but wasn’t ready to go this morning so I went and got the things I thought would sell out (Rudis and Beechnut).
I got:
- (12) BeechNut Fruities pouches BOGO 99¢, used (6) $1/1 printables and (6) 75¢/1 printables
- (6) Rudi’s Gluten Free breads BOGO $3.99, used (6) $2/1 printables
- (4) Texas Toast BOGO $2.89 (didn’t have coupons with me)
- Bananas 75¢
- Avacado 69¢
- Strawberries $2.50
Used $5/30 Winn Dixie coupon from Enjoy the City book (Get a GREAT deal on this book HERE)
Paid ONLY 13¢ (no tax)

This is awesome I plan on doing my trip at lunch time and getting the Rudi’s bread and beechnuts b/c I figured those were the first 2 things that would sell out also.
All of my stores were sold out within an hour of the stores opening. I’ll have to get rain checks for everything.
Dang, really! That is terrible! The Publix I go to doesn’t really get that busy and 98 percent of the time they everything in stock, I am hoping they have everything.
I got your coupons in the mail before the mailman got there yesterday so they should be there today. I am not sure if you like them but I also sent a raincheck(no clue if the sale is done) for 6 of those barilla veggie pastas and the coupons that go with it. Remember the ice cream is for the ‘kids’ wink.
hahah yes ice cream is for the kids (but its frozen yogurt right? isn’t that healthy?)
Where did you find the bread? I couldn’t find it anywhere!
in the freezer section near the texas toast
do you think that bread is in all Publix stores?
does it taste the same?
I haven’t tried it… we had 3/4 of a loaf out already so I put them all into my freezer
Gluten free bread does not taste like regular bread. It is an “acquired” taste. Most people who do not have to eat GF, for dietary reasons, do not eat the GF just because they like it.
I was afraid this would happen. Why are people buying the bread that don’t eat it? There are many people who need gluten free products and it’s very expensive. This is such a nice break for us and now people are hoarding it. It doesn’t taste the same.
Who said they won’t eat it? If we don’t like it I will find someone who does. I don’t just throw out food. We all have the desire to save money!
You can just get a rain check for the item
If you don’t know that gluten free bread products are kept in the freezer you obviously don’t eat it and don’t need to. Not trying to argue just wishing people wouldn’t buy six loaves. There are people who eat healthy and gluten free all the time and rarely get a break. We don’t eat processed food so it’s rare when we get a coupon on something healthy and not all the junk that makes me people sick and fat!
you can always get a raincheck or ask the store to order some for you… someone buying 6 loaves for their family is not going to stop the people who want to buy it for their family
There is plenty to go around
i know you forgot but were is the texas garlic bread coupon??
