This was the first shopping trip I have done using my ShopKick app and I had a lot of fun. I had (2) free $2 Target gift cards in my account before I got there and once I walked into the store, I got 100 kicks which gave me enough to cash out for another $2 Target gift card.
I then used the $1.50 off Market Pantry frozen fruit 40 oz + Target shopkick app coupon on the 64 oz (4 lb) bag of frozen strawberries which were on price cut for only $7.19 making them $5.69 after coupon.
Since I now had $6 in gift cards in my account, I grabbed a 59¢ Yoplait yogurt and used my green bag at checkout to save 5¢ and the total that I needed to pay was only 23 cents !!!
Later in the afternoon I went to Waterford Lakes and when I checked out the Target shopkick pages I saw a bunch of products to scan for kick points. I was able to get 460 kick points scanning things like Wheat Thins, Charmin, Duracell, Dayquil, Pantene, Revlon hair color, KY Date Night, etc (the Quicken software would not work, I tried all 3 varieties)
I don’t get all these perks. My brain is old! I am glad someone can understand all of it though!
when I went to check out, I went to CS desk and just said… I have no idea how to use this app to redeem the gift cards so lets try to figure it out… it was actually really easy

Yes I did that and all the other scans at target but the tax software never worked
I also walked into old navy and best buy and scanned 3 cameras at best buy (a guy working there says the tax software doesn’t work in their store either)
my best buy has the cameras inside a glass box. so i never get those scans. rest every where i get
the guy working there handed me a sheet of paper with the QR codes on them and said scan these for shopkick LOL
the QR code is also on the little price tag sheet by the product displays
oh thats a nice idea. i never tried it. i will try next time

I am new to this app. Is everyone being prompted to take a survey after scanning the barcode? after completing the survey it takes you to another survey site. i close the app and reopen it Is there an easier way?
I do get those surveys each time… at first I would do then, down I close them down. I don’t close the app down though, I think there is a X to close the window but I can’t rememer
Ok. I have an andriod and if i close and reopen, not restart, the survey link is there. i hate restarting the app bc it takes forever for the gps to relocate the target. i love the idea the way that i am doing it now is very frusterating. Plus i dont get signal in the store so its just a constant battle. I am sure there is a better way than the way that i am doing it,
I had an issue at American Eagle in Waterford Lakes, it never would give me the kicks for the walk-in and I walked all around that store for 10 min (the people working these must have thought I was crazy)
LOL well its probably not as bad as me standing in front of the KY for five minutes
If anyone one has a problem scanning this one, i found 2 exact packages with different bar codes and one worked. Maybe ill give it another try at a different store. I LOVE getting free stuff, but my last trip was just agrivating. Thank you for all your post AMY i really appreciate it
