The OldWorldGourmet Vino-Licious line is a unique frozen wine party drink which adds bold, delicious flavors to any type of wine without requiring the use of a blender! You just get your favorite bottle of wine, add the mix and then freeze. You can mix it in either a pitcher or a gallon sized ziploc bag and each pre-packaged mix is the amount needed to mix with an entire bottle of wine. Within 3-4 hours, your cocktail will be ready to serve! **NOTE: if you would like to prepare your drinks faster than that, you can just add ice and use a blender (however I found that this method was not as good as freezing the mix in a ziploc bag).
The mixes come in several different flavors to mix with either white and red wines…
Flavors for red wines include:
- sangria
- blueberry pomegranate
- wine ice
Flavors for white wine include:
- frozen lemon
- margarita
- peach
What I thought of it…. I personally am not a huge fan of red wines and had originally asked for white wine mixes but I tried the red wine mixes that were sent to me. They definitely made the wine much sweeter/fruitier but I think I would have really liked the white wine mixes a lot better. Plus I really like lemon, margarita and peach flavors so much more than sangria and pomegranate. Overall I really love the concept and how the texture turned out. These would be amazing to serve during a summer cookout or party. I really want to buy the mixes for white wine just to see how they would taste because I think I would LOVE them !!!
