Nickelodeon Resort Suites is celebrating their 8th birthday and they want you to come celebrate with them. This is the type of resort that you won’t want to leave for days on end. No matter what size family you have, they have a suite that is perfect for you…. choose from 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom or 3-bedroom KidSuites. Your kids are bound to LOVE the Nickelodeon character themed rooms which have their own TV.
I loved that there were such nice kitchen amenities such as a mini-refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker which makes it easy to bring extra snacks to feed those hungry kids throughout the day.
During the day, there is just so much to do. Not only are there 2 amazing pools with slides, flumes, poolside Nick Live shows and a 400 gallon dumptank with mass sliming, but you can also play basketball, billiards or mini-golf or join in on the extra poolside activities like Build-a-Buddy or T-shirt and backpack coloring.
Throughout the day, you can meet Nickelodeon characters such as Blue, Spongebob, Patrick Starfish, Sandy Cheeks, Squidward Tentacles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Pablo, Otis, Ming-Ming, Dora, Diego, Boots, Fanboy, Chum Chum or Aang.
Stop by to watch Nickelodoen 4D movies where you not only see the movie in 3D but you also experience smells and other effects like wind, bubbles, water spritzes and more while watching it! Buy a wristband and you can watch as many movies as you want during your entire stay!!!
For an extra fee, kids can go to the Kid’s Spa which is open daily where they can get manicure, pedicures, tattoos and hair wraps. And in the arcade there is 3000 square feet of high energy video games and entertainment.
There are plenty of spots to eat at while staying at the resort too. Whether you want to grab pizza, burgers, chicken fingers or a sub quickly or sit down for an all-you-can-eat character buffet, there will be plenty of yummy food choices available to you.
In the evening, you will want to check out the free family shows like Double Dare LIVE or Family Karaoke where you may be picked to be part of the show. Kyle was actually picked twice and ended up with whipped cream in his face during one of the activities (which he LOVED).
You can sign your kids ages 5-12 up to the Nick After Dark program which includes dinner, a Studio Nick show, hands-on slime experience and take-home souvenirs. And kids ages 13-17 can hang out in the Code 9 Teen Lounge (reservation required). While there, they can grab a drink, play games, snack on pizza, hop on Facebook and interact with other kids their age.
I personally loved the free Wi-Fi because I was able to get a little work done while the kids relaxed in the evening and the kids could get on their Kindles to entertain themselves. They even had several movies pre-loaded onto the TVs in the suites.
We had an absolutely fabulous time while staying at the resort and I know we will be back soon. I can promise that you will certainly never be bored while staying there !!!
Disclosure: My family was provide a 2 night stay at the Nickeloeon Resort so that we could experience all the wonderful activities for this post. All opinions are mine and not influenced in any way.
