See the World’s Most Expensive Dress at Ripley’s Believe It or Not!

MarilynMonroe

For a limited time, you can see the iconic dress Marilyn Monroe wore when she famously sang “Happy Birthday, Mr. President” to John F. Kennedy on May 19, 1962, for his 45th birthday gala at Madison Square Garden. The dress will be on display for a limited engagement at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! on International Drive in Orlando, Florida.

Ripley’s Believe It or Not! set a new Guinness World Record for the most expensive dress sold at auction when they acquired the dress from Julien’s Auctions for a staggering $4.8 million. Add in auction fees, and the dress cost over $5 million, making it the most expensive dress in the world.

With the dress, other items from Kennedy’s birthday gala will be on display, along with other Marilyn memorabilia.

The dress will be on display for a limited engagement, leaving after the new year.

Also, guests will have the opportunity to meet and greet a Marilyn Monroe look-alike on December 16 and December 30. The meet and greet is included in general admission (so there’s not a special fee for this event). Guests can have pictures taken with the impersonator. It’s all happening at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! @ 8201 International Drive, Orlando FL 32819

Meet and Greet Days/Times:

  • December 16: 12pm – 4pm
  • December 30: 11am – 4pm
