Word Relax is a Scam
When I first heard about the app Word Relax by Dream Studio a few months ago, I was intrigued.  It is a word game similar to the games I like to play on my phone and they claim you will make money while playing it.  I am not naïve and figured I would have to play for a really long and watch a ton of ads (there is one ad between each level and other ads to watch for the free coins to play). What I didn’t know was that it is impossible to reach the $20 minimum to cash out.  I spent months playing every day and finished all 6100 levels of the game. There are now no more games for me to play and I am only at $19.99. So basically it is impossible to get to $20 to cash out.
How the game works is that you start off “earning†quick money and as you play through more levels you must complete more and more games to earn less and less money. By the time I was at $19.73, I was earning a penny for completing 99 to 189 levels. Then when I finally reached $19.99 at level 6100, there were no games left to play. However, you need $20 to cash out for PayPal or an Amazon gift card but you will never reach it.
If you search, you will find reviews from people saying they made money at level 3000 so I assume that the app developers changed the game after they received plenty of good reviews. They actually have a 4.7 rating for their app but if you read the reviews most people rating it high played very early on in the game or wrote their review before playing for very long. What people need to do is go read all the 1 star reviews (like mine) to see the game now is impossible to make money off of.
I contacted them through the “contact us†button on the app and have not received any reply and I am not holding my breath that I will.  Sadly, many people are going to play this game and watch tons of ads that the developer will make money off of and no one will ever be paid what is owed to them. I just hope this post gets found when people search for reviews on the game !!!
You are right . I also finished the game with one cent short 19,99 I send screenshots to Developer and they responded sorry please follow us for new updates and levels . Meaning tough luck cannot even continue to make the extra one cent with the added levels on Android. I emailed about that also . Zilch Nada never again I will play any game from this developer. I complained on google play and forums and warned future users it fell on deaf ears . They are trolls reporting or cashed out when the game was in its glory before the 1000 updates they have enchanted . Users are not being paid and are complaining or the trolls and fake reviewers are lying . I feel with you all those ads and time and loyalty and data and hope for nothing .
I am at 6632 level and have been for so long and can’t get the one cent. This is really so disgusting for the developers to offer the $20 payout when they have no intent to pay.

I did the same exact thing as you. Isnt there some type of action we can yake because i devoted all my time to this game and for nothing. Now ii am discourage to play any apps with rewards.
I am at Level 467 and my balance is $49.28. The last time I received 10 cents after completing 30 rounds. I figured that I would have to complete another 270 rounds which would put me at completing a total of 737 rounds at 10 cents for every 30 rounds. If you have completed 6100 rounds and only made $19.73, why did you continue to keep playing? Even if I only got a penny for every 30 rounds, I think I can get to $50 in 72 – 80 hours of play. It’s definitely not something to depend on to make money, but if you’re playing because you like playing the game, at least there is an end game . . . maybe.
if you want to play a WORD game is fine but if you thin they’ll pay you any money you are in for a big surprise. I played 1200 levels and didn’t get a dime.
got to $19.73 told me to play 99 more games for next bit of dcash, I then got $5.27 played another 99 games and they 500 $5.28 away from me then worked my way back to $19.98 played another 189 games and one another penny but this time it never says how many games for the nect oenny,, the game is total crap never pays out just filthy fuckijg Chinese cheats like all of them someone needs to nuke the entire asian continent
I have being playing a game similar to this one : called WORD CONNECT ! I think they were all owned by the same people ! BUT WITH PEOPLE LIKE US THAT WILL NOT STAND BY AND LET THESE SHADY PEOPLE GET BY WITH PROMISING US TO GIVE US MOMEY FOR SOMETHING. WE WORK HARD AND LONG TO GET ! Just LIKE PUBLISHER CLEARING HOUSE UNTIL THE FEDS GOT AFTER THEM WITH INTERNET FRAUD AND MADE THEM GO BACK AND PAY OUT THE MONEY THAT WERE OWED PEOPLE !!! SO LETS STAY BEHIND THEM AND COMPLAIN TO THE RIGHT PEOPLE IN GOVERNMENT TO MAKE THEM ACCOUNTABLE .. NEVER BACK DOWN!!!!!!!!
After finishing a level the game states x amount of levels to get more. When you reach 19.99 it does not state any more levels. Which means you cannot break 19.99. Pretty sad that you have to complete over 6000 levels to get 19.99. Not to mention the literally thousands of ads you have to watch.
So that explains why the app doesn’t even open anymore for me! So close to get the $20, after months playing thousands and thousands of levels! Wow… Can’t trust anybody!
I have been playing this game for a few weeks now. The rules have changed from early on because now you have to get to $50 before you can cash out. What have not changed is all ads and the amount of games you have to complete to just get .01. I am at level 1600 and at $49.75 and you now have to complete 250 games before you receive $.01. At this point the game wont even load anymore now that I am almost at the cash out amount
This game is a joke im at level 2500 and $19.50 and now i cant log into the game..this game is a big fucking joke i wasted about 6 months playing this game..fuck this game in the ass

Oh I got up to $19.90 & now the app won’t start any more, gets to about 80% loaded & just freezes. Pile of crap.
After you accumulate around $45 you only get 1 cent for every 30 levels. Utterly ridiculous! Don’t waste your time. You will never get to $50 so you can cash out.
With my game I could cash out at $50.I got to $48 and change, and then the game froze. It will not even load up anymore. They have no intention of letting you get the money. If you just wan to play fine. But don’t think you will get an k money because you won’t. There should be a law against this type of scam.
I was at a balance of $19.70 on Word Relax, and the Company has stopped my app from opening their page. I guess I was too close at cashing out, but I really enjoyed the game. Now I have found other word games to stimulate my brain. Yeah, 188 games every 4 days to acquire 10 cents was challenging, but there are other games. It wasn’t just about the small amount of money, it was the obsession of playing the tournament every day.

You are so right. People, don’t waste your time because you will never cash out. I have played at least 20 of these word games, fish blast and the panda one. Some cash out (not really) at $20, some $50 and some were $100. At $90 on fish blast, to give one example that will fit all, I had to play 30 levels to receive one penny. Do the math. I won’t live long enough to receive this dubious cash.
Something happened to me ,I have got too 19.98 there’s no more money so far eveRyan single game I’ve played I got within a couple cents then no more money ,I’ve played about 25 games all togeather till the end and there just noway to win any of there games on 1 game alone I spenthink 150.00 cash of my owne money trying to win 20.00 stupid right? These people should not be able to get away with this it’s not fair, I think we should all stop playing there games for a week or until they let some people win something ,we should all get togeather an figure out something ,it’s just not fair
This app is a scam!… do not play and expect to get anything in return!… if you want to play just because you like this sort of game then go for it!… but you will never be able to cash out ANY amount… it does start giving you high amounts at first but then you will have to play hundreds of levels for .01 when you start getting close to the cash out amount!… I only got to level 737 but a previous reviewer indicated he finished the game with no more levels after 6000 and stayed 1 cent short of the cash out amount!!!…. thus is BOGGUS … it’s a SCaM to have you watch a million ads so the developer gets paid for the ads!…
Scam alert….read reviews have anyone ever won…at 99. and can not get to 100 to payout on PayPal….fuck making them rich by watching all these ads…and no one is getting paid….
Same thing happened to me. I will never reach the 20 dollar mark because I can’t get the last penny they owe me!! Level 6957 and still no penny! SCAM!!!

I went looking for reviews or “scams” on a similar game by this company (Dream Studio) that I’ve been playing for quite a while now. My game is called “Word Link” (not “Word Relax”). However, as I look at the screen shots here, it looks EXACTLY like the game I’ve been playing. One other difference is that the minimum cash out amount for me is $100. I am currently at level 507 and have “earned” a total of $99.46. It has been taking MANY levels to earn money now… and each time is only one penny! I thought I’d check to see if this was a scam. This is the only post I could find that appeared to be remotely related. Now I’m thinking that if I continue to play… even for several months… that I probably will reach the end of levels with no more games to play… and still not have achieved the minimum $100 needed to cash out. SMH!!!

I did 9100 puzzles and did not receive a Nickel!!! This game is BIG SCAM!!!!! Do not waste your time! Now they are giving me the same puzzle so basically that’s it! 9100 games and they cut you off! Don’t play and be sure you tell all your friends

Same exact experience. Thanks for sharing! I’m at level 8702 and have had $19.99 for five months. I have tried to contact them multiple times with no response. I wondered how they have reviews that said people cashed out at Level 3000. So this is good to know. What can be done since they are scamming people?

I played this game to see how long it would take to get to the $20.00. Wish I had seen these reviews before. I finally reached $19.91 and I cant play anymore unless I give them my email and agree to their terms and conditions. What a scam! I should be illegal to promise what they cant deliver!

This game is a complete con. I don’t know how they have got away with it but they have. So many people conned. It starts off a decent enough game but quickly becomes utter crap. Mind numbingly boring. The origin of the game should tell you not to touch these games.
I’m on level 7,361, and still stuck at $19.99. Has anyone ever actually gotten $20 on this game? I like playing it when I’m sitting around bored, so I’m not super pissed or anything, but I’ve spend a lot of time on this game and really just wanna know if there’s any point in thinking I’ll get anything? Or, at this point, just really wanna see how many levels I can fit under my sleeve lol. Can anyone honestly tell me if they’ve gotten anything?
Word relax is definitely a scam I had gotten up to 20•00 and it would not let me redeem it so I kept playing and I got up to 19•99 and they took away the first 20•00 I played for about another month and did not get the 1¢ so I deleted the game enough is enough Thanks for nothing
I am currently on level 9100 and still at $19.99. I enjoy playing the game, but now it seems I hit a dead end and the game won’t go past 9100. If you’re looking to get paid, it ain’t gonna happen. At least I’m now a pro at Word Scramble in the paper.
