Yes I have won a few things… $25 Publix gift card w/ 12 free coupons for Barber chicken was the last big one I won. I have readers emailing me all th etime saying they won sweepstakes that I have posted. You can’t win if you don’t enter!!!

I live in the Orlando area (Lake Mary) as well! I hear your 13 year old Kaley cheers, so does my 13 year old! Who does she cheer for? BTW thanks for letting us know ehre the “cheap” Publix is…it might be worth my time to go and check them out!!

In your blog today you said you went recycling. What do you do to go recycling? and Where do you do it? I would love to start doing something like that in Phoenix. Thanks
In the neighborhoods around me, we have recycling days where we put bins out by the side of the road with their recyclables. (I first called to make sure it is legal to go through the bins to get coupons.)
Since the neighborhoods right around me (including mine) have recycling day on Monday morning, the Sunday coupon inserts are usually right at the top of the bin!!!

I was wondering if you could tell me where the cheap Publix is in Orlando. Also are the prices different by a few cents or are the savings worth going out of my way a little bit for. One last question what competitor coupons do they accept. Thanks for you help and I love your blog I’ve told all my friends about it. Keep up the good work!
Some things are like 50 cents less. Like say, Knorr sides are $1.49 at reg Publix and $1.03 at cheap.
As far as I know they take Albertsons, Winn Dixie and Target (not sure about Target at Alafayas but I know Lake Underhill takes Target)
Alafayas take Target store coupons. I go shopping after work with my coupons. I recently found you through another blog.

Hi Amy, new to your website and use it religiously over the last 4 days – got into this game due to the amazing Extreme Couponing documentary on TLC – i could not believe what i saw. I have passed your website information to over 15 people already, all learning as me.
My first attempt was at walgreens, with the Celsius drinks, worked fantastic, got them for free, then used the RR money to buy other items i needed while using their store coupons, so a double whammo, i was surely hooked. 2nd attempt was the Scotts toilet paper at target, scored them at $.99 each, all worked as you stated.
Also, went to walmart and got the colgate paste for $1 as you stated, all others were 2.50-3.50, so thanks for that one too, but unable to locate the $.46 cents holiday soaps, only found the regulars for $1.50, did not need them as i had bought at walgreens for $.99 with the RR money from Celsius purchase, so bought 12 of them.
Never could have done this w/o your help, so God bless you and keep helping us!!!!
BTW, the groupons and the odeals.com for orlando people have worked out great, eating well for cheap – love it!!!!
just wish i did not have that 2 coupon limit when printing on most of these….. oh well, cant have it all right? Thanks much and looking forward to your new tips!!!
Awww thank you so much, that stuff is what makes me smile. In a year you will save SO MUCH MONEY!!! Soon you will have that stockpile to get you through the year (I don’t think you need enough of any product to last 30 years like some of those ppl LOL)
Hi Amy I love your site. Just started couponing and have gotten alot of neat stuff. I was wondering what can you tell me about the Poiciana area? Im thinking about relocating and the homes that I see on the realty website are huge with a small price mainly foreclosures. Is there a hospital yet and what about the traffic some forums say the traffic is terrible. Any info will help me . Thank you.

Hi from NC! I lived in South Florida until 3 years ago, and boy do we miss Disney. After reading your blog, as well as a few others, I decided to start couponing. What is the best way to organize coupons – why product would you recommend?
Do not laugh by currently I am using a large envelope with a rubberband – to say it is not working well is an understatement.

I would love to find out how people are able to get 1000′s of coupons every week? I buy (a fee) coupons every week instead of buying 20 newpapers everyweek. Are they buying them in bulk? How do they aquire all these coupons?

yes there is one but I RARELY shop there, I only go there if there is something that will be free or cheap (my son has piano lessons next door)
Hi love your site you make it very easy to figure out what coupons to use and where! I live in Apopka and was wondering you posted about “cheap Publix” what makes one less priced than another? Also where do you primarly end up shopping?
there are 2 cheap publix stores around me and both are next to Walmart Marketplaces and have lower prices on MOST staple items to compete with walmart.
They are located at:
Alafaya & McCulloch
Lake Underhill & Chickasaw
I have kinda learned what items will be less at those stores and if its a week that I am not buying a bunch of one of those items, I go to the store by my house.
For example… wishbone dressing at cheap publix is BOGO $1.97 and its BOGO $2.89 at reg publix by my house
Also now I shop at the publix that accepts the competitor coupon I want to use… only 2 stores near me take Sedanos coupons and I had 5 of the $5/25 sedanos coupons so I shopped at those 2 stores to use those coupons

I have recently gotten into the couponing business!! My question is how do you get so many inserts. I have contacted local stores and even the newspaper here in Columbia, SC to see if I could buy left over inserts out of the papers that were not sold and of course they said no. Thank you!
I go recycling on Monday morning (our area puts out bins of papers to recycle and the sunday paper is usually right on top since out day is monday morning)

I have shelves in my closet in my bedroom/bathroom closet for a LOT of it and luckily I have a lot of cabinet space in my kitchen. I learned the hard way the first year what goes bad in a hot garage in the summer !!!

not sure if they take printed circulars… maybe ask to be mailed the circulars, some comanies will do that
It was so nice meeting you a few weeks ago, I check your website daily you make couponing much easier. Just a note you might want to ask Walmart what their policy is on BOGO items from Publix. The Walmart near me is honoring the Publix flyer for BOGO at the Walmart price, they had told me more Walmarts would be doing this soon and will soon be adding Winn Dixie to the list as well. The manager happened to mention it to me when I came and got my order for the 60 bottles of formula which I got for free. Keep up the great work. =o)

Hi Amy! Do you know if when you use a $5 off $30 Winn-Dixie as a competitor coupon at Publix, do they take it off before the rest of the coupons or after? For example, if I buy $60 worth of stuff, but it turns out to be under $30 after coupons, do I have to spend more to use the $5 off $30 competitor Q?
I get my total to $30 before coupons, hand them the $5/30 coupon and then hand them the rest of my coupons to bring my total down to as little as possible
Yay! I’m using the Enjoy the City coupons tomorrow for the first time, and I’m going to attempt two separate transactions (hubby will do one) so I can use one on each order. Let’s hope they don’t give me any trouble. They’re usually super nice about my coupons, but I always get a little nervous trying something new.
It worked! The cashier was super nice about it and didn’t give me any trouble at all. I love Publix!
