Buddy, Tank and the gang go on a quest to track down Ceratopsians, and they end up meeting “the Queen,” an amazing Late Cretaceous Regliceratops, who has a very decorative frill that almost rivals Kosmoceratops for number of horns.

Then, the gang heads to Jurrasic China in The Tiny-Saur Train, where the search is on to find the tiniest dinosaur of all. In We’re Not All Dinosaurs, the Pteranodon kids meet a new, small mammal friend, Adele Alphadon, and introduce her to their Big Pong friend, Cindy Cimolestes, to a new concept – that not all Mesozoic creatures are dinosaurs!

And in A Clubhouse of Their Own, the kids want their own hangout that’s separate from the family nest. They try out several locations, but none of them are the right fit. But with the help of Mom and Dad, the group builds their own clubhouse using natural materials.

Set in the 1990s, “Captain Marvel” is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that introduces the MCU’s first stand-alone, female-franchise title character—Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel. When we first meet Danvers, she already possesses her superhero powers, having left her earthly life behind and become a member of an intergalactic elite Kree military team called Starforce, led by their enigmatic commander, Yon-Rogg. But after Danvers has trained and worked with the Starforce team, and become a valued member, she finds herself back on Earth with new questions about her past. While on Earth she quickly lands on the radar of Nick Fury, and they must work together against a formidable enemy in the form of the Skrulls—the notorious Marvel bad guys made even more dangerous by their shape-shifting abilities—and their leader, Talos, who is spearheading a Skrull invasion of Earth.

“Captain Marvel” stars Academy Award® winner Brie Larson as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel,  Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, with Annette Bening as Supreme Intelligence, with Clark Gregg as Agent Coulson and Jude Law as Yon-Rogg.

When Kaley saw the movie sitting on the counter she got so excited.  She saw it in the theater and said it is SOOOO good.  She loves that it has a strong female lead that girls can look up to.  She said it was action packed and funny and a great movie to watch with the family.  So basically she stole the Blu-Ray from me LOL

Disney’s “Aladdin” in 4DX Review

One of my all time favorite Disney movies has always been Aladdin.  I saw it in the theater in college back in like 1992 (man I am old) and even owned the Soundtrack.  When I heard they were doing a remake I was super excited and really hoped they did a good job on it.  AND THEY DID !  Many people were wondering how Will Smith would be as the genie and I have to say he was perfect.  I loved that this version stuck very close to the original story-line.  They did add a couple new songs but all the originals that I love were kept in it.  The costumes were soooo amazing.  In fact as I was walking out I overheard other people talking about how much they loved the costumes too.  The dance sequences during the songs were fantastic.  I literally has a smile on my face the whole movie and will be buying it when it comes out  on Blu-Ray/DVD.

Another reason I loved this movie so much was because I went to the 4DX theater here in Orlando.  This is my second time seeing a movie in 4DX and it really adds a whole new element to watching a movie.  The seats move, you get splashed with water, bubbles fall from the ceiling, you may even smell scents being pumped into the theater.  It is like you are in a theme park ride for the entire movie.

Some big 4DX moments in this film include:

  • A fantastic magic carpet flying sequence for the ‘A Whole New World’ scene
  • A fun Cave of Wonders sequence that feels like a Disney theme park ride
  • Jafar’s snake staff creates some fun vibration effects
  • Rain water and face spray are used to great effect in scenes with unexpected water sequences
  • Bubbles fall from the ceiling to give the feel of snow

The seats moving during the magic carpet rides really made it feel so real and I loved the falling bubbles for a cool “snow” effect.  The whole theater was in awe when that happened.  I just can’t say enough good things about this experience !
