There was a $1/2 Crystal Light coupon in today’s Smart Source insert (no size restriction) and CVS carries the single packs by the cooler for 2 for $1 which makes them free after coupon!!!
**I am just starting to run out from the last time I stocked up on these for free
does this work??
i haven’t used these coupons yet but I have done it MANY times in the past when similar coupons have come out
I went a few minutes ago and they are on sale 2 for .50. So I go 8 for free using two coupons!!
OH WOW, wonder if its on sale everywhere… I hope so !!!
It must be a regional coupon. I live in Birmingham, AL and did not get this Crystal Light coupon or the Carefree coupon. : (
i am so mad! I just tried to use this coupon at a local gas station, they had the singles ( which I had not found at cvs so far)..anyhow..the manager wouldn’t let me use it! she argued that it was only for the “ones pictured on the coupon!”. has anyone else been told they couldn’t use this?
That is a ill-informed cashier. I find that gas station cashier are just not very educated on coupon use because they don’t encounter them very often. You absolutely are allowed to use it on the singles, the coupon does not list a size (it says ANY)
Thanks Amy, I thought that was the case. And I know it sounds a bit silly over something that was $1, but I decided to email Crystal Light, hopefully I can have it IN writing to take in to show this manager. For one, she embarrassed me, she treated me like I was trying to rip her off or something, then on top of that, I told her I didn’t want them if I couldn’t use the coupon; well, I was so flustered that AFTER I paid and she handed them to me I realized she STILL charged me for them!! It boiled down to she wasn’t going to give in, cause at one point she said, “I am saying NO to the coupon”. It was just crazy!!
I don’t get why some cashiers act so rude… its not like you are stealing from their wallet
I don’t get it either, I was a retail manager for quite a few years, and I would get excited for people to save money. If you want, I can let you know when I hear back from Crystal Light 🙂
Yes please
Amy, here’s the response from the crystal light coupon. Unfortunately, it’s not what I was hoping for, I really wanted to be able to show the cashier that the coupon was okay to use. Oh well…it’s done and over with now. Thanks for listening,
steph
I’m sorry that your local grocery store refused to accept our coupon. The decision about where coupons will be redeemed is up to the individual store manager. Since most grocers are excited about passing along added value to consumers, I suggest you try another grocer in your area.
And I’ll make sure that our Promotions and Marketing Team knows about your experience.
Again, thanks for contacting us, and I hope you’ll continue to enjoy our products.

yes kind of a lame response
