DIY Rustic “LOVE” Decor Using Dollar Tree Supplies

Here is an easy DIY rustic Valentine’s craft and most of what you will need for it comes from Dollar Tree.  I already had the stain so this project only cost me $5+tax to make.

Supplies:

• Two 2-packs of foam dice from Dollar Tree (in the toy section)
• 2 Small wooden crates from Dollar Tree
• White spray paint (under $1 at Walmart)
• Foam brush to put on stain (can use an old rag instead)
• Stain from hardware store (I choose espresso color)
• If you don’t have a Silhouette machine or Cricut, you will need black paint and a stencil

Directions:

1. Spray paint the foam dice in thin layers allowing the paint to dry between layers.
2. Stain the wooden crates, rub off the extra stain with a towel or old T-shirt.
3. Rub the towel with the excess stain on the corners of the dice to “age” it.
4. Using a Silhouette machine or Cricut, type the word LOVE and cut the letters out of permanent vinyl.
5. If you don’t have a machine, you can use a stencil and paint the letters on each of the dice.
