I headed up to Walgreens this morning to get a few things that I needed that were a good deal and here is what I got:

• (2) Mead Envelopes 99¢ w/ ad coupon
• Gold Medal Flour $1.50 w/ ad coupon
• (11) Lindt bars $2, used $2 printable coupon
• (4) Dozen Eggs 99¢

However, there was this guy was in front of me getting 25 Lindt bars and his coupons to totally looked copied because they were all black & white and looked a little smaller in size than printables should be.  I kept quiet because I would never want to start drama if I wasn’t 100% sure.  Once he left I asked if the cashier would let me see them because I wanted to explain to her what to look for with printable coupons so the store doesn’t lose money.  When I looked at all the coupons, he had completely edited out the part of the coupon in the top right corner with the pin #s (just erased that whole section before copying them  UGH).  So sad that he just stole $50 in candy from the store (and honestly I wouldn’t be shocked if he was going store to store doing it).  I left the store so upset and wish I could have chased this guy down but he was long gone by the time I left.

Do you all get as mad as me when you see people scamming like that?  It just makes stores crack down more and more which hurts legitimate couponers.
