Texas Instruments TI-Nspire CX Handheld Graphing Calculator

One product that is on most high school students’ school supply list is a graphing calculator.  There are so many different types to choose from and it can be quite confusing.  Texas Instruments is the brand recommended most by teachers so I decided on the Texas Instruments Nspire CX for several reasons…

  1. It is permitted on SAT/ACT/PSAT/AP/IB tests
  2. The Rechargeable Battery is expected to last up to two weeks of normal use on a single charge
  3. It has a backlit display with high-resolution LCD
  4. It has a 320 x 240 display resolution which is larger than most
  5. It has 100 MB of available memory so you can save a LOT of work on it
  6. It comes with a single use software license and USB cable
  7. All software upgrades are free

TI-Nspire

With this graphing calculator you can import your own color images (even your own photos) so that you can discover true-to-life connections.  Once out of school, you can continue to use the TI-Nsprire CX to create documents with bar graphs to show business success (and hopefully not failure).

The TI-Nspire CX handheld and software helps to improve student achievement in both math and science from middle school to college and can be purchased at major retail stores and educational product dealers.  For more information visit education.ti.com
