Setting it up was pretty easy… I just used the step by step guide and it was ready to go in 6 steps:
- Unpack
- Plug in power and turn on
- Install ink cartridges
- Load paper (make sure tray is completely closed or it won’t print)
- Connect the Fax line
- Install software
When loading paper, there are 2 trays with slider bars so you can fit different sizes of paper and photo paper. Plus there are so many options to help create the perfect photos.

I like that there are 5 ink cartridges so you only need to replace the color that has run out.
My favorite feature is the Mobile Printing where you can print wirelessly from your iPad®, iPhone®, tablet, smartphone or computer with either AirPrint, Google Cloud Print or EPSON Connect.
The Print on CD/DVD feature is just so neat. I tested it out making a copy of a DVD movie face and it was so easy. This would be great for creating memory photo CDs and cute video DVDs for relatives at Christmas time and putting your child’s picture on the CD/DVD. Or if you are into creating your own music, you could create a graphic for your CD so it isn’t just a solid plain color.
